New services at the Bulldog

November 12th, 2010

In addition to our custom spray chrome services we are now offering vinyl signage and graphics.

We will be glad to turn your logos and ideas into signage for your business or vehicle.  Or come up with a design for your personal use to personalize your car or truck.

This equipment can also be used to cut patterns with the use of the computer to create stencils which will help us create custom paint schemes and multiple colored chrome graphics and designs.

If you have any need for this service please call or email anytime.

Updated photo gallery

November 11th, 2010

We’ve just added more photos to the gallery.  Check them out to see the variety of work we do.  Some of the photos have  a brief description.  You may have to mouse over the photo header to read the entire caption.  Still learning how to use this properly.

Video Page

November 6th, 2010

You will notice a new navigation button on the home page.  We’ve added a page to show the videos from our YouTube channel.  I will try to show jobs in progress and some videos of the spray chrome process in action.  We will also post video of shows we attend or where some of our work is being shown.

For those in the northern Colorado area, be sure to attend the Creme de la Chrome (correct spelling?) Thanksgiving weekend.  The early Mustang Club of Colorado will have a couple Mustangs on display at the Chrome Insurance booth.  They’ve restored a 66 convertible and built a “Jr. Mustang” to match.  The Jr. Mustang is a go cart replica that is surprisingly detailed.  We were asked to do a chrome finish on the Jr. fiberglass bumpers and the thermal formed plastic hub caps, as well as the Mustang grille emblem and tail lights.  Check it out.

Thanks from the Bulldog

Videos

October 28th, 2010

We’ve been working on our YouTube channel.  I’m still pretty new to the age of technology, so it’s taking me longer than most to figure out what I’m doing.  The first video was posted to the bulldogcustomchrome channel on YouTube yesterday.

This was an experimental video showing the finished 1976 Trans Am grille that you see on the web site home page.  I will be posting more videos shortly.  The next one should be of the application of the reflective layer of our process.  Check back soon.

Thanks from Shane and Bulldog Custom Chrome

Working on Sunday

September 19th, 2010

The perils of being a small shop owner are that you are always playing catch up.  The good thing is there is a lot of work coming in.  You will be seeing a number of new job pics added to the gallery soon.  I’m currently working on a chrome finish on an entire 52 Willys.

Just in are a couple grilles from a 33 and 34 Ford truck along with bumpers and miscellaneous hardware.  We also have a 57 F-100 grille to restore.  These are just a small example of the more than 20 jobs we currently have in the shop.

Keep us in mind for anything you want done, from a custom finish to restoration of old parts that you’re having trouble finding someone to dip.

Busy is good.

latest news from Bulldog Custom Chrome

August 31st, 2010

We’ve been working hard building this business and have, unfortunately, been rather neglectful of the web-site. It has been recently reworked (thank you to Brian Weiss of Nitewalk Design)and we will be updating the gallery regularly so that everyone can see the variety of work we are involved with here at the shop.
On the right side of the home page you find links to some interesting shops we work with. Be sure to check them out as well.
Check back frequently to see some interesting projects. We will be trying to post progress pics and explanations of our larger jobs, or projects we think will stimulate your imaginations.
We just got an order for a chrome finish on an acrylic mold that will be a prop featured in the intro to an up and coming TV series. More about that later.
If you have projects you would like to do or just have questions for us, feel free to drop us a line on the contact page. We usually return correspondance within a day.
Thanks for giving us some of your time.
